Quinoa, pronounced “keen-wa” is a great wheat-free alternative to starchy grains. We use the Royal Quinoa variety, which is recognised as the highest quality quinoa available. Compared to standard quinoa, Royal Quinoa is larger, has a more nutty flavour and produces a fluffier grain when cooked.

Produced in South America, packed in the UK. Certified Organic by the UK Soil Association and registered by the Vegan Society.

Add to stews and soups, add to homemade snack bars or add to salads. 

Inspiration:
Quinoa Salad

Ingredients:

  • 100g Green Origins Quinoa
  • 1 ripe avocado (peeled and sliced)
  • 80g baby spinach
  • 50g feta (crumbled)
  • 1 handful of mint (finely chopped)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 200ml water

Method:

Rinse the quinoa, put in a pan and cover with 200ml of water. 

Cook over a medium heat for 15 minutes or until fluffy. 

Add the quinoa to a mixing bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Mix it all through, serve and enjoy.
